ZZZ – DSD – the what and how

DSD 1 German proficiency course – Why do it?

This course is available for High School students, currently enrolled in full-time study.

The German Language Diploma (DSD) is the only official school based German language education program for German as a foreign language outside Germany. This program is endorsed by the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs (states of the Federal Republic of Germany).

We are the only school in Queensland certified to test the DSD B1 level and the costs are minimal.
An awesome opportunity if you are keen to work or study in Germany.

We are very proud of our DSD status as only some 1,100 DSD schools worldwide make up the “Schools: Partners for the Future” (PASCH) network set up by the Federal Foreign Office and teach the DSD German Language Diploma of the Conference of Culture Ministers to Level I or II. This diploma is an internationally recognised certificate of a specific level of proficiency in German which qualifies the holder for admission to a Studienkolleg or University in Germany.

Unlike other language examinations, the DSD is an integral part of the German school curriculum. The special thing about DSD schools is that they are national schools which are supervised and supported by the Central Office for Schools Abroad (ZfA) in Germany. It has been possible to obtain the DSD language diploma abroad since 1974. A total of more than 75,000 people in over 70 countries sit the DSD examination every year.
