Fees

BGLS Fees 2024

We are a not-for-profit school and we only pass on the costs that we need to run our classes. To help us to keep our costs down we ask all students to ensure that they have enrolled and paid BEFORE attending the first class. This helps us to plan the number of classes required.

For 2024 our fees for attending classes are:

Courses Term
Youth Class  $330
Adults Class  $410

We recommend that where possible students attend a class as part of a group. This allows the opportunity to practice your language skills with others. We do recognise though that at times it may be difficult for our students to attend in person. In these cases we can offer private lessons at a time to be negotiated between you and the school. The cost for private lessons is:

$75 for 60 min (minimum 4 lesson block)

$60 for 45 min (minimum 4 lesson block)

10% discount for a block of 10 lessons

Please note that for all classes there may also be a cost of textbook purchase. Textbook costs will be displayed as part of the enrolment process. You can purchase your textbooks through the school or privately

Discounts

A 10% discount applies to families and is applied to the lowest student fee in the family.

Additional costs

$35 annual membership fee is required for ALL students (payable only once per calendar year per family).

2.8% surcharge fee applies if paid by PayPal. If you would like to use PayPal our Treasurer will send you the details after you have enrolled.

Casual rates

Where students miss part of a term a casual rate may be requested. This rate only applies if a significant portion of the term is missed.

  • $60 per Youth class
  • $70 per Adult class

Preferred Method of Payment

Our preferred method of payment is via our Bank Account. Please do not pay for school fees until you have enrolled and received an invoice.

Number of students per class

Our term costs are designed for a minimum of 5 students. Where class numbers for adults and online children’s classes fall below this number the school reserves the right to reduce the class length proportionate to the number of students attending.

2 students = 45min lesson

3 students = 60min lesson

4 students = 90min lesson
